Basim Mohamed Al Saie
Chairman
As Chairman of Ghitha, it is both an honor and a responsibility to lead our mission to build a strong, resilient, and regionally significant food platform rooted in Bahrain. Our ambition is clear: to create a food powerhouse that not only secures Bahrain’s food future but also contributes meaningfully to the broader regional ecosystem.
At Ghitha, we are focused on scaling our portfolio companies- Bahrain Flour Mills Company, General Poultry Company, Delmon Poultry Company, and Gheras—while actively seeking partnerships that create value. We believe the path forward lies in collaboration, not competition. That is why we are extending a hand to the private sector, not as rivals, but as co-investors and co-builders, sharing the journey of innovation, efficiency, and growth.
Our strategy centers on integrating critical assets across the food value chain and investing in advanced technologies that enhance production, processing, and distribution. By combining sustainability with innovation, we aim to build a future-ready food ecosystem that can withstand global challenges and adapt to ever-changing needs.
This is more than a business endeavor. It is a national mission. At Ghitha, we are committed to working alongside stakeholders who share our vision for a secure, sustainable, and thriving agri-food future for Bahrain and the region.
Sincerely,
Basim Mohamed AlSaie
