As part of Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gheras focuses on innovative solutions such as hydroponic farming to support local crop production.

Gheras was fully transferred to Mumtalakat’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ghitha, a transfer aims to accelerate growth and innovation in the Bahraini agri-food sector, further supporting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to improving national food security.
